THE SPIRITUAL KEY TO THE PSYCHE

Psychiatry has overused the word autism. They apply it to every unusual children's condition that they do not understand. There is nothing mentally wrong with autistic children. Intrinsic mental illness is out of the question.

Some autistic children are intellectually limited, others have organic problems, still others have emotional problems. Whatever the case, they are having energy problems...chemical, emotional and psychic.

Chemical energies means they have an organic/biochemical problem, from toxins in the environment, poor diet or tainted pharmaceutical medications.

Emotional energies (due to insensitive relationships) which, when suppressed, are stored in the body, not in the psyche.

Psychic energies are a natural part of our communication system. Today, children are born that are deeply psychic. They are the new evolutionary development of mankind.

Psychic children pick-up on and painfully feel the suppressed subconscious anguish of people in their environment, usually of their parents. The bible refers to this in Exodus 20:5 ... "The sins of the parents shall be visited upon the children." To better understand this, replace sin with karma.

Since the child has no understanding of the pain it is receiving from others in its environment it will turn inward in its effort to elude the pain. Turning inward, as well as other behaviors of the child, has psychiatry offer a diagnosis of autistic psychosis.

All of us were born psychic but we lost this skill due to ignorance. Among the books that testify to this is The Secret Life Of The Unborn Child written 30 years ago by two pediatricians, Doctors Thomas Verny and John Kelly.

The book is filled with anecdotes that confirm the child in the womb (which means you and I) is psychic, capable of picking up on its mother's thoughts and even from the outer environment.

Energy therapies can make a difference with these so-called autistic children, including yoga breathing. Coaching the children through yoga breathing will help them deflect and release the uninvited psychic energies. The pained people in their environment should also be taking advantage of this help.

An organization called Minding Miracles, in Matawan, New Jersey, is said to heal psychic autism with yoga breathing.

If children are too young to coach directly, then one way is for the parent and child lie down next to each other. The parent does the breathing and the child picks up on it and duplicates the breathing.

Medical psychiatry rejects the metaphysical realities of the mind. Dr. Jung's approach to the psyche must be embraced to deal appropriately with the psyche's challenges and properly understand and manage childhood autism.
