THE HYPOGLYCEMIC DIET

This diet is optimal for those who have hypoglycemia

and excellent for those who do not.

The best rule of thumb is...if Adam and Eve didn't have it to eat in Eden then avoid it. Eden didn't have cola springs, French-fries bushes and hotdog pens. Natural, unprocessed food is healthiest. Until you heal of hypoglycemia follow this diet rigidly.

If you must buy processed food (canned, frozen, etc.) always examine ingredient labels for unnatural additives. Man cannot create a food. Synthetic additives and chemically altered foods are poisons.

1.
Divide your day's food intake into five small meals evenly spaced.

Eliminate all man-made sugars...table sugar, maple syrup, corn syrups, etc. Molasses and honey are relatively healthy sugars, but not for people with hypoglycemia.

3.
Hypoglycemics should eliminate potatoes, all grains (rice, corn, wheat, barley, etc.) bananas, peas, carrots and beets. They are high in natural sugar and starch. Everyone should avoid man-made starches...bread, pasta, cakes, pastries, cookies, confections and products with gluten.

Eat a complex carbohydrate diet that contains fiber. Focus on fresh fruit, vegetables and salads especially.

5.
Meat is best organic, low in fat and protein-rich. Focus on fish and fowl, not fried. Avoid farm-raised fish and sea-food. Purchase wild-caught only.

6.
Avoid canola, cotton-seed oil and olestra (artificial oil). Avoid oil from non-organic soy; it is genetically modified. Organic fermented soy...natto, soy sauce...is okay.

7.
Avoid food with artificial additives...flavors, sweeteners, preservatives and colors. Avoid MSG. They disguise it as "natural flavor". Fast food restaurants use them.

AVOID PROCESSED FOOD. Avoid hydrogenated anything...trans-fats...food with stabilizers.

9.
Avoid sodas and supermarket energy drinks. They are chemical cocktails. Avoid containers of fruit-juice. They are too sweet and too processed.

10.
Avoid homogenized-pasteurized cows milk...it is a dead food...its molecular structure has been altered. Cheese, butter and yogurt are okay. Real yogurt is just milk (preferably raw) and culture. Goat's milk products preferable. No ice-cream...has sugar.

11. Eliminate all social drugs...nicotine, caffeine, alcohol and street drugs.

12.
Water for drinking and cooking should be pure. Tap water contains at least chlorine and fluorine. It must be filtered to be safe to drink. Even high quality bottled water has chlorine. It is best to use an effective filtration system.

13. Take vitamins and minerals as prescribed by your nutritionist.
