How The Mind Works

The mind is the organ of memory. We store memory in the mind and, with its memory retrieval function, the mind sends memory to our consciousness.

The Body - The Organ Of Memory
The whole body is the mind. The brain is not the organ of memory, nor is memory stored in the psyche. The entire body is where memory is stored.

Neurologist Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD, says the brain is a receiving system of memory...and memory is lodged in the body's electro-magnetic field. It's certainly something to think about.

Storage Of Memory
The mind is designed to store memory in the form of benign energies. Memory of our thoughts is benign mental energy. Memory of perceptions is benign neurological energy.

Emotions are not benign energies...they are powerful and at times abrasive. Emotions do not belong in the mind. To the mind they are foreign matter...irritants...and for this reason the mind resists storing emotions.

The Mind Reacts To Emotions
The mind automatically seeks to purge itself of emotional energy. Using its memory retrieval function, the mind automatically moves emotions back to our consciousness so we will take them back and express them outwardly.

With that action, stored emotions are leaning up against the psyche and, as a result, become irritants to the psyche...gifting us with emotional problems.

Emotional Problems - A Side-Effect
Typically, we will think there is something wrong with ourselves. But, emotional problems are actually a side-effect of the mind seeking to rid itself of unwelcome emotions.

So, the source of the psyche's emotional problems lies outside of the psyche...in the mind. Emotions must be reclaimed and expressed by us, then the body/mind is free of them, and so are we.

Yoga breathing provides that facility.
