Anxiety can have an organic basis such as drinking caffiene. If you have hypoglycemia, where the pancreas overgenerates insulin due to eating sugars and starches, it will result in anxiety or panic attack. When not organically based, these issues have the same foundation...fear. By suppressing fear its energy flows into the mind, is stored there, and we have the basis of many forms of PTSD. (Every emotional problem, whatever label it has been given, is a form of PTSD.) Seeking to rid itself of emotional energy, the mind moves it against our consciousness so we can express it outwardly. If we do not take back and embrace the emotion its energy is painfully up against the psyche and will manifest as one of the issues...anxiety, phobia, panic attack. Emotions must be embraced and expressed, then the body/mind is free of them, and so are you. Yoga breathing provides that facility. Learn it here and take it home with you. |
